1960 Founded and played first match.

1970 Couldn't win the first round in the African Cup of Nations after losing 2-1 to Sudan.

1972 Lost to the Congo before beating Zaire in the 3rd place play offs.

1982 Cameroon went out in the group stages in the FIFA World Cup after drawing every match, against Peru, Poland and Italy.

Went out in the groups in the African Cup of Nations after drawing every match.

1984 Won the African Cup of Nations final 2-1 against Nigeria. Lost in the group stage of the Olympics after losing to Canada.

1986 Failed to qualify for the FIFA World Cup after losing in the 2nd round qualifying. Came 2nd in the African Cup of Nations

after losing against Egypt on penalties.

1988 Cameroon won the African Cup of Nations final by beating Nigeria.

1990 Qualified for the FIFA World Cup on an aggerate score of 3-0 against Tunisia. Cameroon lost the quarter finals in extra time against

England. Cameroon lost 2 of 3 games in the African Cup of Nations in round 1.

1992 Cameroon came 4th in the African Cup of Nations after losing to Cote D'Ivoire and Nigeria.

1994 Cameroon lost to Russia and Brazil in the FIFA World Cup.

1996 Knocked out of the African Cup of Nations after losing to South Africa and beating Egypt 2-1.

1998 Cameroon lost 3-0 to Italy to get knocked out of the FIFA World Cup. Cameroon were reminded what it's like to lose against Congo

in the African Cup of Nations after losing in the quarter finals.

2000 Cameroon beat Nigeria on penalties in the final of the African Cup of Nations. Beat Spain on penalties at the Olympics.

2001 Cameroon lost the group stages of the Confederations Cup after being beaten by Brazil and Japan.

2002 Cameroon made it to the group stages of the FIFA World Cup before being knocked out by Germany. Once again the African Cup of Nations

final went down to penalties but Cameroon still won.

2003 Marc Vivien Foe died. Came 2nd after losing 1-0 to France in the Confederations Cup.

2004 Cameroon lost to Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations quarter finals.

2006 Lost the African Cup of Nations quarter final to Cote D'Ivoire.

2008 Cameroon lost the African Cup of Nations final 1-0 to Egypt. Lost the Olympics quarter final against Brazil.
